The Pascal based Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB variant arrived at our doorsteps yesterday. This particular variant is the ASUS GTX 1060 6GB DUAL OC which as included in the name comes with a factory overclock.

It comes in a stereotypical graphics card box with a leopard adorning the front of the box.
Round back is chock full of information as regards to the card and the various technologies utilized.
On the bottom of the box are the minimum specifications required for the optimal use of the ASUS GTX 1060 6GB DUAL OC graphics card. It is important to read this properly before buying any graphics card.
With the ASUS GTX 1060 6GB DUAL OC being on the power efficient Pascal architecture, this card also supports Virtual Reality (VR) as can be boldly seen on the front of the box.
On opening up the box, we encounter another box. On opening that box, we see the graphics card in it’s wrapping.
Beneath the graphics card are some documentation and a driver CD for the GPU Tweak II software that can be used to control the ASUS GTX 1060 6GB DUAL OC.

It’s got two fans to help with cooling, a welcome addition.
I also happen to like the design language, quite similar to their more enthusiast Strix line.
